Pertagas, Linde sign MoU on mini LNG plant project

State gas producer PT Pertagas has agreed to work with Linde Group in conducting a feasibility study of a mini LNG plant in East Indonesia.

Pertagas president director Gunung Sardjono Hadi signed recently a Memorandum of Understanding on the study.

Once operational, the mini plant will supply the LNG to state power company PLN.

State oil and gas company Pertamina and PLN have also reached a deal on the cooperation. The mini LNG plant will have a capacity of 25-30 mmscfd.

Pertagas expects to complete the study and techno-economic evaluation of the project before the construction commences next year.(Bernard)
