Pertagas may increase gas supply for PKG

Gas distribution firm PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said there?s possibility to distribute an additional gas supply of 40-50 mmscfd to its key customer in East Java, state-owned fertilizer firm PT Petrokimia Gresik (PKG).
Pertagas President Director, Suko Hartono said in a statement on Wednesday that the gas will come from unutilized gas owned by affiliate firm PT Pertagas Niaga.
He said that the possibility of extra gas supply, to be transmitted via the Semare gas pipeline in Pasuruan, East Java, currently under construction, will be discussed with PKG soon.
PKG President Director Nugroho Christijanto was quoted by the statement as saying that the extra gas supply would help the company increase production of fertilizer products.
PKG currently receives gas supply from Pertagas at an average volume of 64.4 MMSCFD.
