Pertagas?s pipeline project in North Sumatra 72% complete

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Pesero), said its gas pipeline project in North Sumatra stretching from the port city of Belawan to two industrial areas ? Kawasan Industri Medan (KIM) and Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Sei Mangkei?has been 72 percent completed as of end of May..
"The project is expected to be commissioned by the fourth quarter this year,"Pertagas? President Director Hendra Jaya said on Friday in Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the pipeline project linking Muara Karang in Jakarta to Muara Tawar in Bekasi, West Java has reached 41 percent of completion. Meanwhile, the Porong-Grati (in East Java) and Gresik-Semarang (in East Java and Central Java) gas pipeline projects are entering construction phase.
