Pertagas says it?s ready to distribute gas from BD field to PKG

Gas distribution firm PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has successfully tied-in the Semare gas pipeline section with the Porong-Grati gas pipeline section in East Java Province

Pertagas Corporate Secretary Arief Widodo told Petromindo.com that with the successful tie-in, the pipeline is now ready to distribute gas from the BD field in the Madura Strait Block, offshore East Java, operated by Husky CNOOC Madura Ltd (HCML), to a second fertilizer plant of state-owned PT Petrokimia Gresik (PKG) in East Java.

?The Pertagas pipeline has been ready since December 8,? he said, while adding that the gas distribution will depend on the readiness of the PKG fertilizer plant, which is expected to start operation in February of 2018.
