Pertagas selects compressor supplier for Aceh-Belawan pipeline

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) said the tender for compressor provider for the Aceh-Belawan pipeline network is nearing completion.

President Director Gunung Sardjono told petromindo.com that a winner has in fact been selected, although he said the winner could not be revealed as yet while waiting for the objection period to end.

"We have selected the winner to supply compressors. But we should wait for about 1 or 2 weeks of objection period before formally making announcement," Gunung said.

The winner will install the compressors at 3 gas compressor stations in Arun, Pangkalan Brandan and Wampu.

Gunung said he expects the groundbreaking of the pipeline project to take place on August 17.
