Pertagas signs HOA with private power plants in Secanang on gas supply

PT Pertagas Niaga, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), has recently signed Heads of Agreements (HOA) to supply gas to several privately-owned power plants in Secanang, Belawan North Sumatra Province, according to a top official of the Pertagas Niaga.

President Director of Pertagas Niaga Jugi Prajugio told Petromindo.com that there are several privately-owned power plants in the area using diesel oil as fuel. They now want to convert to gas and will need a total of 150 mmscfd, he said.

"We've signed HOAs with them and expect to the GSAs (Gas Sales Ggreement) in the near future as the price (for the gas) is already clear,? Jugi said without proving details.
