PT Pertagas Niaga, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has set a target for gas sales volume this year to increase by 400 percent to 600 million mmscfd from 120 mmsfd last year, Kontan daily reported Friday.

Pertagas President Director Jugi Prajogio, however, said that the realization of the target would depend on a number of things including on the availability of gas and the timely completion of gas infrastructure facilities such as the Arun-Belawan pipeline.

He said that the company has signed a number of head of agreements and MoUs on gas sales and purchase.

The higher gas sales volume would translate into a higher revenue of Rp 11 trillion this year, Jugi said, but did provide comparative figure for 2013. In 2012, revenue was less than Rp 2.2 trillion. (*)
