Pertagas to develop Aceh, N. Sumatra pipeline

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) has teamed up with Aceh government owned company (PDPA) to develop a gas pipeline from Arun in Aceh to Belawan in North Sumatra.
?There?s no funds participation from PDPA. The cooperation with PDPA is more focused on the possibility of the marketing side in the future,? Pertagas President Director Gunung Sardjono told Petromindo.com Friday.
He expects the gas pipeline to be completed in 2013. ?We could take advantage of the existing Pertagas pipeline. The investment is about US$300 million. But it will all depend on the results of the Front Engineering End Design (FEED),? said Gunung.
Pertagas has appointed PT LAPI ITB, a business unit of the Bandung Technology Institute, to make the FEED, which is expected to be completed in September-October.
