Pertagas to invest $325m this year

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), will invest US$325 million this year, according to an official of the firm.
"$305 million of the investment will be used for business development including the completion of several sections of pipeline (projects) such as Gresik-Semarang, Muara Karang-Muara Tawar and Porong-Grati," Public Relations & CSR Manager Hatim Ilwan said in Indramayu, West Java.
"Our main business is gas transportation. (Our gas) pipelines currently reach a total length of 2,200 km. If the four major projects can be completed this year, we will be having an additional 500 km of pipelines," he said.
