Pertamina affected by Iraq oil embargo

The state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina would be affected by the Iraq one-month oil embargo as the company imports Iraq?s Basra oil crude to feed the Cilacap refinery.

A source at Pertamina told Petromindo.com that two vessels of the Basra crude were supposed to arrive latter this month.

Iraq on Monday decided to stop all oil exports for one-month in a bid to put a pressure against countries supporting Israel?s offensive military action in Palestine?s West Bank area.

Pertamina?s subsidiary Pertamina Energy Trading Ltd. imports the Iraq oil crude to feed the Cilacap refinery has a processing capacity of 120,000 barrels per day.(Godang)
