Pertamina, AKR assigned to distribute subsidized fuel products

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina and IDX-listed fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk have been assigned by the government to distribute subsidized fuel products in 2017.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement on Thursday that Pertamina has been assigned to distribute 16.31 million kilo liters of the subsidized fuel products, comprising of 610,000 kl of kerosene and 15.7 million kl of automotive diesel oil.
Pertamina has also been assigned to distribute 12.5 million of non-subsidized ?special fuel products.?
Meanwhile, AKR will distribute 300,000 kl of automotive diesel oil, the statement said, issued following the handing over of the decree assigning Pertamina and AKR on Thursday.
