Pertamina, AKR assigned to distribute subsidized fuels

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina and PT Aneka Kimia Raya (AKR) Corporindo Tbk have been officially assigned by downstream regulator BPH Migas to distribute subsidized fuesl for next year.

The letters of assignment were handed over by BPH Migas? Chairman Andy Noorsama Sommeng to Pertamina?s President Director Dwi Sucipto and AKR?s President Director Haryanto Adikoesoemo in a ceremony on Friday, BPH Migas said in a statement.

Pertamina is assigned to distribute 45,355,000 kiloliters of fuels, consisting of 29,460,000 kl of Premium gasoline, 850,000 kl of kerosene, 15,045,000 kl of of diesel oil.

Meanwhile, AKR is assigned to distribute 645,000 kl of fuels, consisting of 20,000 kl of Premium gasoline and 625,000 kl of diesel oil.

The two were selected from five companies who were interested to distribute the subsidized fuels. The three other firms are PT Surya Parna Niaga, PT Nusantara Sumber Energi and PT Tri Wahana Universal, BPH Migas said.
