Pertamina anticipates power plant, LNG businesses in Myanmar

The government of Myanmar has offered Indonesian state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina new business opportunities in Myanmar including power plant development and export of LNG to the neighboring country.

Vice President Director of Pertamina, Achmad Bambang told Petromindo.com that the government of Myanmar is expected to officially offer the new business opportunities during an upcoming visit by Aung San Suu Kyi to Indonesia late in December.

?(We?re) Waiting for Suu Kyi?s visit to Indonesia. There are plenty of business opportunities being explored,? Achmad said, without providing further details.
