Pertamina appoints Sucofindo, SI to audit fuel "delivery order"

The state oil and gas firm Pertamina has appointed local firms PT Sucofindo and PT Surveyor Indonesia to audit its fuel delivery order forms in a bid to help resolve the rampant fuel smuggling out of the country.

Pertamina president Baihaki Hakim said on Monday that the two firms were given six months to complete the job.

Baihaki said that the auditors would focus their job particularly on areas believed to be rampant with fuel smuggling including the eastern coast of Sumatra, Maluku Island, and the Jakarta and the greater area. (*)
