Pertamina awaits shipment of crude, LPG from Iran

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina is awaiting for the shipment of 44,000 tons of LPG and one million barrels of Iranian light crude purchased from National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
Pertamina Integrated Supply Chain Division Senior Vice President Daniel Purba told Petromindo.com Wednesday that loading of the 44,000 tons of LPG on to Pertamina vessel is expected end of this month.
He said that the LPG will either be shipped to the terminal in Teluk Semangka or in Situbundo in East Java.
During a visit of President Joko Widodo in December of last year, Pertamina signed agreement with NIOC for the import of over 500,000 tons of LPG.
Daniel said loading of the crude oil is scheduled for February to be allocated for Cilacap refinery.
