Pertamina awards Inti Karya to build E. Java's fuel terminal

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina has awarded local company Inti Karya Persada Teknik (IKPT) the contract to build a primary transit terminal of oil-based fuel in Tuban, East Java, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday..
“IKPT was declared as winner after forwarding the lowest bidding price. Contract has been signed and construction will take place soon”, Pertamina President Director Ari H. Soemarno said.
The Rp 1.5 trillion terminal project is expected to be completed in 28 months, Ari said.
The terminal having a capacity of 450,000 kiloliters is built to reduce Pertamina’s expense on the operation of floating fuel storage in Semangka Bay and Madura Strait, Ari added. (*)
