Pertamina, BSP appoint Vitol CPP offtaker

State oil and gas company PT. Pertamina has appointed Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd., a unit of Dutch energy trading as offtaker of its share of crude from Coastal Plain Pekanbaru oil block in Riau province for 2005, according to a publication issued by Pertamina.
The contract was an extension of 2004 contract.
CPP is jointly operated by Pertamina and local company called PT.Bumi Siak Pusako, owned by regency where the block is located.
Meanwhile, Bumi Siak Pusako president Jusmadi, told Petromindo.Com that the company also appoint Vitol as offtaker for its share of crude. "BSP is committed to sell 150,000 barrels of crude per month to Vitol throughout 2005," he said.
The block currently produces some 31,000 barrels of oil per day.(alex)
