Pertamina builds new oil well

The state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina has completed the construction of one oil well of the planned three wells in the Karang Baru area in West Java, the Investor Daily reported on Monday.
The paper quoted head of operation of Pertamina's West Java upstream operation Indra Prasetya as saying that the well has produced around 2,035 barrel of oil per day, and around 12,401 million cubic feet of gas per day.
"We plan to build three wells," he said. He did not provide further details. (*)
