Pertamina buys Grove all terrain crane for Cilacap refinery

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has purchased a new crane to support the construction of its oil refinery in Cilacap, Central Java.
The large vehicle, named Grove GMK6300L all terrain crane, was purchased through PT Altrak 1978, Manitowoc dealer for Grove cranes in Indonesia, according to news report from khl.com.
It has 300 tons capacity AT.
The Cilacap refinery is undergoing a US$800 million expansion. As part of this work the GMK6300L is being used to place 2.5 ton chimneys on newly constructed towers measuring 105 meters in height.
Work on the Cilacap refinery expansion is scheduled for completion in late 2014. The expansion will up capacity to 410,000 bopd), an increase from the current 350,000 bopd output.(*)
