Pertamina buys spot LPG from ConocoPhillips

State oil and Gas Company Pertamina has bought 40,000 tonnes spot LPG from ConocoPhillips and is looking for long-term deal, a Pertamina official said on Thursday.

Marketing Director Ahmad Faisal told Petromindo.Com that 40.000 tonnes of LPG from ConocoPhillips-operated Natuna Sea Block B would arrive at Pertamina?s Teluk Semangka facility Thursday night.

Faisal said the cargo would be to substitute LPG production from Balongan refinery, which is temporarily halted on maintenance program.

Faisal said Pertamina is looking to buy LPG from ConocoPhillips on long-term basis. He, however, did not specify the volume Pertamina needed. (godang)
