Pertamina, Chevron sign gas sales agreement

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina signed on Tuesday a gas sales and purchase agreement with Chevron Indonesia Company under which the latter will supply 1.5 mmscfd of gas to the former.
The agreement, valid until 2018, was signed by Vice President of Natural Gas at Pertamina, Wiko Migantoro, and VP Commercial of Chevron Indonesia John White, witnessed by Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arcandra Tahar at the International Indonesia Gas Conference & Exhibition 2017.
Pertamina said in a statement that 1 mmscfd of the gas supply from Chevron will be allocated for Rapak gas refill mother station in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, and the remaining 0.5 mmscfd for the Balikpapan gas pipeline network serving 3,849 household consumers operated by PT Pertagas Niga, a Pertamina subsidiary.
