Pertamina cleans up oil spill at Blora regency

PT Pertamina EP Field Cepu, a subsidiary of Pertamina EP, has cleaned up nearly 90 percent of oil spills at the Sambong village in Blora regency, Central Java since the cleaning works began on Thursday, last week.
Pertamina EP spokesman Agus Amperianto said in Jakarta over the weekend that the company deployed a skimmer, two vacuum trucks and six oil booms to clean up the oil spills in the Sambong village.
The oil spills occurred on Thursday, last week after a four-meter trunkline connecting the Nglobo and Cepu oil pipepline was stolen. As many as 30 barrels flooded the area due to the oil spills. (godang/giok)
