Pertamina close to seal 2nd LNG import deal

State oil, gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) said it was close to seal deal to import LNG from Africa starting 2020, according to a company official.
?We are currently finalizing the deal,? Didik Sasongko, Pertamina?s VP for LNG Marketing told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday without disclosing the supplier?s name.
He added that the African LNG supplier will supply 1 million tonnes per annum to Pertamina under long-term contract.
Didik said that Pertamina is seeking to import up to 3.6MTPA of LNG starting 2020.
Thus far, the company has signed deal to take LNG from Cheniere Energy Inc. (LNG)?s project in Corpus Christi, Texas. Under the deal Pertamina will buy 1.52 MTPA of LNG starting 2018 for Indonesia?s domestic market.
