State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina through its Integrated Supply Chain has recently completed tender for the import of 54 million barrels of so-called premium gasoline, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday.
The paper quoted Pertamina President Director Dwi Sutjipto as saying that the winning bidders include national oil companies (NOC) and major private oil companies.
He added that Pertamina held the tender for the supply of premium gasoline (octane number 88) in the second semester of this year.
Pertamina Vice President for Corporate Communications Wianda Pusponegoro said that about 75 percent of the premium gasoline import would be supplied by NOCs among others from South Korea, Thailand and Saudi Arabia, and the remainder 25 percent from major oil firms. (*)
