State owned oil and gas company Pertamina said it had held talks with several refineries in Singapore on the possibility of processing Pertamina?s crude to anticipate US attack on Iraq.
?We have held talks with ExxonMobil, Shell and SPC,? said president Baihaki Hakim Thursday, but he added that no deal had been closed ?We want the deal to be closed as soon as possible to avoid domestic fuel supply shortage.?
The government on Thursday ordered Pertamina to cancel shutdown of Balikpapan refinery and ordered Pertamina to operate all refineries at full capacity. (godang)
