Pertamina considering to explore oil in Sudan

State oil and gas company Pertamina is considering to fulfill the request of he Sudan government that it explore oil in that country, Pertamina president director Baihaki Hakim said on Tuesday.

The Sudan government had offered some facilities to Pertamina so as to smoothen its operation, Baihaki said.

?The problem is that they can not make available geological data and other data necessary for exploration activities,? he said.

Accordingly, Pertamina has planned to cooperate with Malaysia?s Petronas in that matter, Baihaki said. (godang)
