State fuel retailer PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has lowered the prices of its non-subsidized diesel fuels Dexlite and Pertamina Dex while raising the price of premium gasoline grade Pertamax Turbo, effective June 1, the company said.
Dexlite, which has a cetane number of 51, was reduced to Rp 23,000 per litre from Rp 26,000 previously, while Pertamina Dex, with a cetane number of 53, was cut to Rp 24,800 per litre from Rp 27,900.
In contrast, the price of Pertamax Turbo, a RON 98 gasoline product, was increased to Rp 20,750 per litre from Rp 19,900.
Prices for Pertamax (RON 92) and Pertamax Green 95 (RON 95) were left unchanged at Rp 12,300 and Rp 12,900 per litre, respectively.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth M.V. Dumatubun said the adjustments were made in line with movements in global energy prices and pricing formulas set under government regulations.

"The price reductions for Pertamina Dex and Dexlite, as well as the adjustment to Pertamax Turbo, were made by considering global energy price movements and the parameters set by the government through the applicable pricing formula," he said in a statement.
The company said the pricing policy was aimed at maintaining competitive fuel prices while taking into account consumer purchasing power and market conditions.
Roberth said the lower diesel prices were expected to provide broader benefits to the economy by supporting transportation and industrial activities.
Pertamina Patra Niaga said it would continue to monitor developments in global energy markets and coordinate with the government to ensure reliable and sustainable fuel supplies.
The company also said fuel stocks remained sufficient across its nationwide network of service stations to meet demand from households and businesses.
Pertamina regularly reviews prices of its non-subsidized fuels based on international oil market trends, exchange rate movements and government pricing guidelines.
