State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina cut down on Sunday the retail price of its various non-subsidized fuel oil products in line with declining trend in global oil price and the strengthening of the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar.

Pertamina said in a statement that the reduction in the fuel prices of up to Rp 800 per liter was also made to accommodate the purchasing power of the people. The company said that the retail prices in various regions may differ depending on local fuel tax.

Pertamina said that in the Jakarta area, the new retail prices of its non-subsidized fuel product brands are as follows.
1. Pertamax Turbo adjusted downward from Rp 12,000 per Rp 11,200 per liter
2. Pertamax from Rp 10,200 down to Rp 9,850 per liter
3. Dexlite from Rp 10,300 down to Rp 10,200 per liter
