State oil and gas company, Pertamina, said on Friday it had delayed a crude processing deal with Singapore Petroleum Co Ltd (SPC) after delaying its 125,000 barrels per day (bpd) Balongan refinery shut down.

"We are delaying a 92,500 barrels per day (bpd) crude processing deal with SPC to September because we are reprogramming our plan, especially the delay at Balongan refinery," Pertamina deputy director for processing, Dwi Kushartojo, told reporters.

He said Pertamina expected to resume its 22,000 bpd residue fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC) unit at Musi refinery on August 20 following a technical problem. (*)
