Pertamina delays maintenance of refineries until 2007

Pertamina will delay the maintenance of its refineries in Balikpapan and Balongan until next year to benefit from high prices of oil products, Bloomberg reported.

Pertamina was scheduled to do the work, which will take 20 days, later this year, Suroso Atmomartoyo, Pertamina's director of processing, said in Bali on Friday.

Balikpapan refinery has a capacity of 260,000 barrels a day, while Balongan can process 125, 000 barrels a day. (*)
