State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina has delayed plans to shutdown for regular maintenance of its Dumai oil refinery in Riau province, which was originally scheduled for early July.
?We delayed the turnaround of the refinery by up two weeks as there is a shortage of fuel supply in the country currently,? Pertamina?s director for processing Suroso Atmomartoyo told reporters on Tuesday.
The Dumai refinery has a processing capacity of 120,000 barrels per day (BPD).
Indonesia has nine refineries with a total capacity of 1 million BPD. (godang)
