Pertamina discovers oil, gas in West Java

State oil and gas firm Pertamina said on Wednesday that it had discovered oil and gas from Tanggul Maung 2 delineation well, which is located in Subang regency, West Java.
Pertamina said in a statement that the well flowed 1,558 barrels of oil per day (BPD), 12.2 million standard cubic feet per day (MMCFD) of gas with CO2 content of between 6 percent to 10.8 percent, 4.53 MMCFD of gas with 80 percent CO2 content and 66.5 BPD of condensate.
Tunggul Maung 2 well was spudded early November 2001 and reached the total depth of 2270 meters in December 16, 2001. The well was temporarily cased and suspended as future oil, gas producer. (alex)
