Pertamina drilling delineation well in Tapen structure

PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), is drilling a delineation well, called TPN-2, in Tapen structure, Sidoharjo village, Senori district, Tuban regency, East Java province.
?The drilling of TPN-01 well aims to ascertain the amount of hydrocarbon reserve trapped in the Tapen structure,? PEP?s President Director Rony Gunawan said in a statement released by Pertamina on Friday.
The Tapen structure was first drilled in 1998. The drilling has been resumed since 2012, Syamsu Alam, Pertamina?s Upstream Director, said, adding that Pertamina expects the structure contain huge reserve.
