Pertamina EP Cepu awards FEED contract to Singgar Mulia-Flour Daniels

PT Pertamina EP Cepu has awarded the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contract worth US$6 million to the consortium of Indonesian firm PT Singgar Mulia and American firm Flour Daniels.

The FEED is only for the unitization project of Jambaran and Tiung Biru fields in Cepu block. The areas covered by the FEED does not include the Cendana block, which will be developed by the firm ?separatelly for the sake of efficiency,? Pertamina EP Cepu?s President DirectorAmril Thaib Mandailing said in Thursday.

Tiung Biru field is located within Pertamina EP?s Cepu operations area which is adjacent to the Cepu giant oil and gas block jointly operated by Mobil Cepu Limited (MCL) and Pertamina EP The Jambaran gas field is located within the Cepu Block, which is operated by MCL, a unit of ExxonMobil Corp.

MCL and Pertamina EP agreed in September 2012 to unitize both fields.
