Pertamina EP completes 3D seismic in Akasia Besar field

PT pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said it had on December 31 completed a 3D seismic survey at the Akasia Besar field in West Java.
Indra Prasetya, Vice President for Exploration at Pertamina EP, told Petromindo.com on Monday that the seismic survey spanned Indramayu, Majalengka and Cirebon regencies.
He said that the data obtained will be further studied to determine the next activity.
The 3D seismic survey in Akasia Besar formed part of the company?s planned 1,167 km seismic survey in various areas last year.
