Pertamina EP completes Akasia Bagus 3D seismic survey

Pertamina EP has completed the Akasia Bagus 3D seismic survey at the West Java Block in West Java, covering 1,012 square km, the largest acreage in the history of the company?s 3D seismic survey.
Pertamina EP Vice President for Exploration Nanang Abdul Manaf said that the survey activity was conducted in cooperation with PT Elnusa Tbk.
He explained that the Akasia Bagus 3D seismic survey will determine the exploration work at the Akasia Bagus (AGB)-1 well so it could be immediately developed and start production.
He added that the company expects to also find new oil and gas prospects from the just completed survey activity which covers five regencies including Subang, Indramayu, Sumedang, Majalengka and Cirebon.
