Pertamina EP conducting seismic surveys in 7 locations

PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina, said it is conducting seismic surveys in seven locations as a move to find more oil and gas potentials. The main target areas will be Sumatra, Java and East Kalimantan, Agus Amperianto, Public Relation Manager of Pertamina EP told Petromindo.com.
Agus said most of these seismic survey programs began in the second half of last year. The seven seismic programs are as follows:
1. 3D Akasia Bagus in West Java which is 73 percent completed;
2. 3D Puspa seismic survey in Jambi province which is 75 percent completed;
3. 3D Ginaya seismic survey in South Sumatera which is now 50 percent completed;
4. 3D Manduru seismic survey in South Sumatera which is 50 percent completed;
5. 3D Semanggi seismic survey in Central Java which is in the process installing data recording;
6. 2D/3D Nona seismic survey in East Java which is in the process of installing data recording;
7. 2D/3D Sutrisoma in Sanggata, East Kalimantan which is also in the process of installing data recording.
