Pertamina EP conducts drilling test on several wells

PT Pertamina EP has been conducting drilling test on several oil and gas wells in the latter part of August. Early indication reveals oil and gas shows.

?The latest is Tegal Pacing-2 (TGP) in Cikarang, West Java, DST (Drill Stem Test)-1 starts today. TBR-2 is undergoing DST-2, ASB-1 undergoing DST-1, and TSM-5 undergoing DST-5, each are still waiting for the result report,? said Pertamina EP Vice President for Exploration, Nanang S. Manaf to Petromindo.com on Thursday.

?Meanwhile, the BGL-1, TPH-1 TPN-1 wells are undergoing drilling operation,? he added.

Nanang said that the TBR-2 well is located in the Cepu Block, Central Java. ASB-1 and ASB-2 in Indramayu Block, West Java; BGL-1 (Benggala) in Langkat Block, Sumatra, TPH-1 (Tapah) in Sangatta Block, eastern Indonesia, and TPIN-1 (Tapen) in Cepu Block, Central Java..

Results from DST-1 and 2 at TBR-3 well shows oil rate of 1,700 bopd, and gas rate of 1 mmscfd. Results from DST-3 and 4 at ASB-1 shows oil rate of 2,250 bopd and gas rate of 0.8 mmscfd. Results from DST-4 and 5 at TSM-5 shows oil rate of 65 bopd and gas rate of 1.7 mmscfd, Nanang said.
