PT Pertamina EP, an upstream subsidiary of oil and gas firm PT Pertamina started on January 1 drilling the Puspa 03 (PPA-3) exploration well in Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province, and OGN-A5 development well in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province, marking the company?s first drilling programs this year.

Pertamina EP Exploration and New Discovery Project Director, Nanang Abdul Manaf said in a statement on Sunday that the drilling of the exploration well forms part of the company?s efforts to find new oil and gas reserves, while drilling of the development well forms part of efforts to help meet this year?s oil production target of 83,865 BOPD, and gas production target of 1,042 MMSCFD.
