Pertamina EP drills well in Paku Gajah

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) has started drilling PMN-9 development well, which is part of Prabumulih field, in Prabumenang village, Lubai Ulu district, Muara Enim district, South Sumatra.

The firm is using Rig N80 B1/27 (1000 HP) owned by Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) with the depth target of 1,693 mMD. The drilling is expected to take 38 days to complete, PEP said in a statement obtained on Monday.

It did not however specify when the drilling started.

The firm said the well is targeted to produce 2.5 mmscfd and 180 bcpd from Batu Raja Formation reservoir, Medy Kurniawan, Subsurface Manager of PT Pertamina EP Paku Gajah Development Project.
