Pertamina EP finds more gas and oil at its Pondok Tengah field

PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state oil and gas company, PT Pertamina, said it has discovered gas estimated at 7 MMSCFD and crude oil at 700-800 bopd in its Pondok Berkah 1 well, onshore West Java, at a depth of 2,500 meters (8,000) feet, early this month.

?We have successfully conducted test on location and discovered gas and oil at Pondok Berkah 1 well, an exploration well in Pondok Tengah field,? said field manager Tambung Field, Dean Rusdi, on Friday.

The Tambun field currently produces 7,000-8,000 bopd of oil and 58-60 MMSCFD of gas. The field currently operates 65 production wells and 14 injection wells. (godang).
