Pertamina EP finds oil, gas potential in Indramayu

PT Pertamina EP Asset 3 Jatibarang Field has found oil and gas potential following a successful drilling program at the KRB 12 well in Karanganyar block, in Sukra Wetan Village, Sukra sub-district, Indramayu Regency, West Java.

PT Pertamina EP Asset 3 Jatibarang Field Manager, Ceppy Agung Kurniawan said Monday that the latest test at the KRB 12 well showed oil potentialof 267 bopd with water content of only 12 percent, and gas potential of 3.5 mmsfcd.

?This shows that there is large enough oil and gas potential at the well,? he said. He added that oil production at the Jatibarang field currently stands at 6,600 bopd, and is targeted to increase to at least 7,200 bopd by year end. ?We?re optimistic in meeting the target because we?ll conduct exploration at KRB 13 well,? he said.
