Pertamina EP hopes PoP of Tiung Biru field mid October

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that preparations are underway to put on production (PoP) the Tiung Biru field in the Cepu Block, Central Java, hoping to drill the TBR-B well in the middle of October with estimated production of 1,000-1,500 bopd.
The company is currently awaiting to resolve the transportation issue to deliver the crude to a storage terminal in Mudi or Menggung, Central Java.
?We?ll put on production the TBR-B well with estimated production of about 1,000-1,500 bopd,? Public Relations Manager of PT Pertamina EP, Agus Amperianto told Petromindo.com Tuesday.
He explained that the company has finalized the POP plan, and once the transportation issue has been resolved, the company could start production within the following 2-3 days.
Tiung Biru field is located within PEP's Cepu operations area which is adjacent to the Cepu giant oil and gas block jointly operated by Exxon Mobil Corp's unit Mobil Cepu Limited (MCL) and Pertamina.
