Pertamina EP, JOB PPEJ sign facility sharing agreement

PT Pertamina EP and Joint Operating Body of PT Pertamina-Petrochina East Java (JOB PPEJ) have signed a facility sharing agreement (FSA) that allows them to share their assets, such as production facility, tanks, and pipelines in Sukowati area of Tuban regency.
PT Pertamina EP's Public Relations Manager Agus Amperianto said in Jakarta on Tuesday that the facilities sharing agreement, which was signed by PT Pertamina EP President Director Syamsu Alam and JOB PPEJ General Manager Bambang Kardono, had been approved by upstream authority BPMIGAS.
The agreement is expected to create a synergy between the two sides in developing the Sukowati field, which is hoped to help increase the Indonesian oil production.
It was previously reported that the Joint operation body PT Pertamina-Petrochina East Java (PPEJ) had managed to ramp up oil production of the Sukowati field in Tuban, onshore East Java to 42,700 barrels of oil per day (bopd) from an average of 40,750 bopd previously.
Salis Aprilian, President Director of PHE, the production rise from the field was achieved following completion of the SKW-18 well drilling. ?Sukowati-18 well began production on February 9, 2012 with average production of 2,536 bopd.?
PT Gasuma, in cooperation with PT Bangkit Bangun Bersama, a Bojonegoro regency owned company, is the off-taker of the Sukowati gas field.
The JOB said the SKW-22 well drilling is still progressing.
