Pertamina EP makes oil, gas find in Sumatra

PT Pertamina EP, an onshore upstream unit of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) has recently completed drilling of four exploration wells in Sumatra area with hydrocarbon discovery in three wells, a company official said.
President Director Salis Aprilian told Petromindo.Com over the week-end that the Manduru-A well which was drilled to the depth of 2,850 meters flowed oil and gas .
Ginaya-A which was drilled to the depth of 2,500 meters also flowed oil and gas and Prabumenang well which was drilled to the depth of 1,800 meters also flowed oil and gas.
Another well Kalalili-A, which was drilled to the depth of 2,850 meters was declared uneconomical.
Aslis did not give detail of the flowrate but said that the three discoveries are currently being evaluated. (bernard)
