Pertamina EP plans seismic survey in S. Kalimantan

PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, plans to carry out survey activities to assess oil and gas potential in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, South Kalimantan Province.
News portal Kontan.co.id quoted Dikky Novi Hermawan, an official at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas?s Kalimantan and Sulawesi regional office, as saying that the company plans to carry out a 350 km2 3D seismic survey, and 2D seismic survey between April 2017 and June of 2018.
He said that the survey is aimed at looking and proving new oil and gas potential in the region. No further details were provided. (*)
