Pertamina EP provides drilling update

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that it is currently monitoring drilling works at three wells including Bambu Merah #1 in Rengadengklok, West Java; Mujaer#1 in Bunyu, East Kalimantan, and Jati Rimba#1 in Indramayu, West Java.

PEP Vice President for Exploration, Nanang S. Manaf told Petromindo.com Wednesday that the company began spudding the three wells in the latter part of May.

Nanang also said that the company has implemented drill steam test for the Randu Lembayung well in Cirebon, West Java.

The company is currently mobilizing two rigs owned by PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) to carry out drilling work in July at Kawista#1 and Kuansu#1 wells, which are located in Sorong, Papua, he said.
