Pertamina EP realizes production from KSO fields

PT Pertamina EP has realized production from oil and gas fields under joint operation scheme, or known here as KSO, covering batch 1 until batch 3 in the period of January and February, respectively at 132,586 barrels and 110,847 barrels.
The company has also appointed the winning operators of KSO batch 4 fields.
?The production target for January was 186,403 barrels, but the actual realization was 132,586 barrels. In February, the target was 172,676 barrels, while the actual was 110,847 barrels,? Vice President for Planning and Risk Management at Pertamina EP, Meidawati told Petromindo.com Monday.
Meidawati said that the batch 4 KSO comprises of a number of production fields including Pabuaran (West Java), Tawun-Gegunung (East Java), and Trembes-Sendang (East Java); and exploration fields including West Jambi-2 (South Sumatera), Bungalun-Kariorang tidak ada pemenang (East Kalimantan).
?The winners have just been appointed so there are no operational activities yet. Trembes-Sendang was won by Foster Trembes Petroleum LTD. West Jambi II was won by Techwin Energy Ltd; Pabuaran by PT IEV Gas; and Tawun Gegunung by PT Kalimantan Kutai Energy.?
