Pertamina EP seeks drilling rigs for Zone 4 wells under new tender

PT Pertamina EP has launched a prequalification process to procure drilling services for its operations, seeking contractors to supply rigs for exploration and production wells in its Zone 4 working area.
Zone 4 is one of Pertamina EP’s key producing areas, covering onshore oil and gas assets in South Sumatra and Jambi, including mature fields such as Prabumulih, Pendopo, Ramba and Adera.

The tender covers the provision of two land drilling rigs with a minimum capacity of 1,500 horsepower, which will be used to drill both exploration and development wells, the company said.
The company said the tender is open to domestic and foreign firms, including consortiums, with a minimum local content requirement of 75%.
Interested companies can submit documents for prequalification between March 13 and March 31, 2026, after which qualified participants will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the tender.
