Pertamina EP signs $265m gas deals

Under the deal Pertamina EP would supply a total of 71 billion cubic feet to the four buyers from its various gas fields.
The deals included a Heads of Agreement with sister company PT Pertamina Gas to supply 62.3 BCF of gas to the latter?s proposed NGL plant in South Sumatra for 15 years starting January 2013.
Gas Sales Agreement was also signed with PT Medco E&P Indonesia where Pertamina EP will supply 1.3 BCF for Medco?s facilities in Ibul, South Sumatra from April 27, 2009 until November 27, 2013.
Pertamina EP also signed GSA Amendment where it would supply 6.2 BCF of gas to PT Pelangi Cakrawala Losarang in Indramayu from December 18, 2008 until the end of 2018.
The last deal was GSA with PT Tossa Shakti to supply 1.4 BCF to its glass factory in Semarang, Central Java from January 2010 until December 2011. 3.
Pertamina EP is Indonesia?s second largest oil and gas producer with production of 127,000 BPD of oil and 1.04 BCFD of gas` in 2009.(bernard)
